What is fish hydrolysate fertilizer?

Fertilizer made from fish hydrolysate is created from processed fish waste. The fishing industry leaves leftover, unwanted fish. Instead of letting them go to waste, the fish are utilized in a process of breaking down the large molecules into small organic molecules and nutrients. After the initial step, the fish are cold processed to retain the nutrients. The cold processing of hydrolyzed fish preserves more vitamins, proteins, and nutrients than the process of fish emulsion. The end product is a great source of proteins, amino acids, and oils. Fish hydrolysate powder provides an excellent source of nutrients for soil and plants.

How do I use fish fertilizer?

Pure Protein Dry 15-1-1 dissolves easily in water.

GENERAL RATES FOR USE:

Field Crops, Broccoli, Beans, Corn, Cauliflower, Cotton, Grains, Tomatoes, etc.,

• Soil—Row applications, apply 1 to 3 pounds per acre with seed. If transplants, apply 2 pounds per acre with your fertility program.
• Foliar—Apply 1 to 2 pounds per acre when plants are 5 to 7 inch stage and again every week till harvest.

Young Trees

• Application Drip—Apply 2 to 4 pounds per acre every 4 weeks during growing season.
• Foliar—Apply 2 pounds per acre every week during the growing season.

Mature Trees

• Application Drip—Apply 2.5 to 3 pounds per acre every 3 to 4 weeks during the growing season.
• Foliar—Apply 2 to 3 pounds in 100 gallons of water per acre during the spray cycle

(Pre Bloom-summer-fall): Spray foliage until runoff occurs.

Berries, Fruits, Nuts, and Vegetables, etc.,

• Soil—Apply 2% solution with transplants at planting. Apply 2.5 to 5 pounds per acre monthly during growing season through drip, flood, or furrow.
• Foliar—Apply 1 to 2 pounds per acre with 50/100 gallons of water every 10 to 14 days during the growing season.

Irrigation rate is based on size of trees, vines, or vegetable crop.

Compatibility: Pure protein has a pH of 6 to 7. It is compatible when applied with most micronutrients and pesticides. Do a jar test to ensure mixing compatibility.

Most retail orders will be shipped via USPS. Estimated delivery time is based on USPS estimations which are generally 2-5 business days. You have 40 calendar days to return an item from the date you purchased it.

To be eligible for a return:
